Rules : 1 Tanka must be previously unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.

　　　　 2 Send two copies of each tanka, with your name and address on one copy only.

　　　　 3 Any theme is acceptable. (Five line form only)

　　　　 4 Winning tanka and commended tanka will be published in the Festival brochure.

Prizes: The Japan times Prize, The Tanka Journal Prize, The Amelia Fielden Prize,

The Hiromi Itoh Prize, The Yasuhiro Kawamura Prize, The Aya Yuhki Prize, etc.

The 6th International Tanka Festival in Tokyo 2009

(ITF Tokyo 2009)

ITF Tokyo 2009 will be held by NIHON KAJIN CLUB, the Japan Tanka Poets' Society. The schedule is as follows:

October 　10^th Registration at Akasaka Yoko Hotel

11^th The 6^th International Tanka Festival in Tokyo 2009 (10 a.m. to 19 p.m.)

at the Meiji Shrine Sansyu-den

(JR Harajuku, Subway Meiji Jingu Mae)

12^th Day trip to Nikko

Registration Fee: US$400 (including 3 nights hotel and meals, trip to Nikko)

　　　US$460 for a single room

Application is due no later than June 30
